Imagine the WSL, but swap out the pro surfers for mind-blowing custom boards and switch the judges for… well, you! How does it work? Over the next three weeks, our most ‘liked’ custom boards on Instagram from the last year, will go head-to-head in their own heats, where you’ll score them out of 10. Winning boards progress to the quarter finals, the semi-finals and then, the twist… If the board you back in the final wins it all, you’ll be entered into a draw to WIN your very own custom version of that board! Remember, only your vote in the final counts towards the giveaway, so rate the boards fairly along the way and make your final vote count! Will there be a perfect 10? Buzzer beaters? Maybe even some controversy… So, head over to our Instagram, get involved pick your favourites, and get ready for the ultimate custom surfboard showdown that is Customania. Round 1 (Starts Monday 30th September) Heat 1 kicks off Customania '24 with a camouflaged Pyzel Ghost against it's younger brother, the Pyzel Phantom in a orange fade that's got us frothing. Heat 2 is a toughy! The LoveMachine FM from Ryan Lovelace, our board of the year, against last year's Board of the Year, the Lost RNF '96 from Matt Biolos. Blue vs Blue, who's it going to be? Heat 3 starts off day 2 of Customania and things are heating up. It's Jake's custom Son of Cobra Round Twin, against this Pyzel Gremlin that's pure fire. Could there be a perfect 10 this early on? Heat 4 this one's for the pink lovers. It's the Pyzel White Tiger (subtelty's overrated) against Roger's new Channel Islands Mid Twin. Heat 5 leads us into day 5 of Customania and it's starting strong with purple vs pink. The Pyzel White Tiger goes head-to-head with the Pukas Acid Plan. Heat 6 it's this trippy Lost Puddle Jumper HP vs this pair of stunning LoveMachines (Yes that's two boards, we said there could be some controversy!) Heat 7 means we've made it to day 4! The battle of the funky tail shapes. It's the Pyzel Happy Twin vs the Lost V3 Stealth Heat 8 wrapping up Round 1 of Customania... last but not least it's this custom round tail Channel Islands G Skate against the Lost Driver 2 Quarter Finals Thousands of ratings and several upsets later we're down to the final 8! Which one of the remaining competitors will be victorious and ultimately be given away to one of our lucky judges (you guys)? Get involved and you might just win your dream board.
