Siren Surfboards

Introducing Siren Surfboards, a range of bespoke surfboards, designed specifically with the female surfer in mind. It’s no secret that surfing has historically been quite male dominated and because of this, many boards are typically shaped with the male surfer in mind and whilst we all come in different shapes and sizes, women do tend to have smaller frames and different needs, than the majority of male surfers.

The tides are changing though, and thanks to the work of Women & Waves, Surf Sistas and other women’s surfing groups, surfing is slowly become a much more inclusive sport with women all over the world taking to the sea.

We are so stoked to be seeing more and more girls and women out in the line-up and enjoying the unique experience that surfing brings. Female surfing is on the rise and we have been getting more and more enquiries from female surfers looking for their perfect board, this would invariably mean a custom order on an existing model to get the dims right, most requests involve maintain length but reducing over all volume and refining the details on the board so the idea for Sirens Surfboards was born - a range of stock boards tailored to the specific requirements of this new generation of surfer. We understand how important it is to find the right board, and how much this can improve your surfing, we are so stoked to be working with Siren Surfboards to make surfing more accessible and inclusive by offering surfboards designed for the smaller, more lighter weight surfer.

The Siren Surfboards shapes, dimensions, designs, and colourways are all carefully considered to meet the new demands of the modern surfer, the boards are designed by a female surfer and in working closely with the shaper the results are spectacular. Inspired by a love of the ocean, the Siren Surfboards logo and each board model has been inspired by Sirens and Mermaids from Folklore and Mythology.
