Trade In Your Surfboard

Looking to upgrade your surfboard? Our trade-in service lets you exchange up to two used surfboards for money off a brand new one.

We’re the first in the world to offer online surfboard trade-ins, and the process couldn’t be simpler.

How It Works

1. Email us
   Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Boardshop Trade-In.

2. Include details
   In your email, please include:

·         Brand, model, size of each board

·         Any dings or repairs

·         Photos from several angles

(You can trade in up to two surfboards per order.)

1. We’ll send you a quote
   Once we’ve reviewed your info, we’ll email you an estimated trade-in value (Usually within a few hours)

2. Place your order
   Go ahead and order your new surfboard and any accessories you want through our website.

3. Pack your old board(s)
   Reuse the packaging your new board came in. Please ensure the board is well protected, if it’s damaged in transit due to poor packing, you may be responsible for repair costs.

4. Send it back
   Once your trade-in board(s) arrive and are checked over, we’ll refund the agreed trade-in amount to your original payment method.

Important Info

• Boards must be reasonably clean. Please remove wax and any heavy dirt. If not, a £30 cleaning fee will apply.

• Trade-in estimates are valid for 4 weeks. If the collection isn’t arranged within that time, we’ll need to reappraise your board(s).

• If the condition of the board is significantly different from what was described, the quote may change. We’ll always let you know first.
