Album Surfboards is the brain child of Matt parker who has been creating innovative surfboards out of San Clemente California since 2001. Album surfboards have finally arrived and all of us here at Boardshop are so stoked to be stocking this incredible brand!

Lead by surfboard designer and head shaper Matt Parker whose ethos is “What board is going to let you have the most fun?” He’s famous for his crazy looking but super functional asym boards and futuristic designs.

Josh Kerr has been working alongside Asher Pacey, Corey Colapinto and a handful of other world class surfers they have created a collection of surfboards that has everything covered from a Classic Twin Surfboard, A number of Asymmetrical surfboards, Mid lengths surfboards and Longboards! All offer buckets of Fun, Speed and Magic, which is what drives matt to design the next quintessential craft. The attention to detail of album surfboards is like none other, offering incredible artwork, completely customisable shapes and fin options and finished to the highest quality. They truly go above and beyond. A few models to mention would be the Sunstone surfboard that will be every hipsters dream, a classic fish surfboard that has been slightly refined to perform and feel more alive. The Twinsman surfboard, a performance twinnie that both Asher Pacey and Josh Kerr use as one of their go to performance drivers and The Social, a mid-length surfboard skate stub, incredibly versatile, can be used as a longboard alternative, a point-break machine, a glidey little stub, or a looser, fishier quad. They have released 3 of their favourite models as foamies.

The Presto Surfboard is a fish that comes in at 5ft 7 with over 40 litres of volume perfect for almost any wave you could encounter. The Seaskate a super fun surfboard for a grom or avid shortboarder and finally the Kookapinto a mid length surfboard for everyone to enjoy. Made from a copolymer foam, inset stringers and our 100% Recyclable! They come with Futures fins and feature a super grippy pad across the length of the deck so do not require any wax allowing you to get in the water straight away.
