Wayne Rich is a world renowned surfboard shaper who has been making surfboards for over 40 years. He is known for his progressive designs, attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship.

Wayne Rich started out in Hermosa Beach California and began his shaping career at the legendary Bing surfboards. He then moved on to be part owner of Jacobs surfboards eventually starting his own label. He loves to innovate and push design convention, he is always searching for the edge that will yield more performance and is always looking at new methods of construction too.

Wayne Rich surfboard designs have evolved over the years and his latest offerings, The Checkmate, Wildcard 3 and The Singularity continue his push to make better and better boards.
