Description

The G-Skate, a collaborative creation by Britt Merrick and the Gudauskas brothers, is a modern hybrid designed for speed, responsiveness, and versatility across a wide range of wave conditions. It excels in big, powerful waves while also delivering a playful and skatey feel in mushy, weaker surf. The board's subtle single to double concave, low entry rocker, and forward wide point ensure easy speed generation and ample volume under the chest. With its modern shortboard rails, it provides precise control for powerful turns and spray. The G-Skate is ideally ridden as a Twin with a small stabilizer (twin+1) but can also be set up as a thruster for added control, albeit with a slightly reduced skatey feel. Overall, it offers a fun and lively surfing experience, combining glide, speed, and the ability to unleash aggressive manoeuvres, all thanks to its refined shape.
