Description

Channel Islands’ New Flyer model is a modernized version of Al Merrick's revolutionary design from 1999, the New Flyer offers high-performance surfing in small waves. With a shorter and wider template, it maintains volume while featuring a contemporary rail line, forgiving rocker, and spiral vee for rapid rail-to-rail speed. The Merrick hip allows for tight turns in pockety waves. Perfect for crowded summer breaks, the Flyer provides extra width and body for sharp turns even in smaller, onshore conditions. Al recommends ordering it 2" to 4" shorter than your height.
