Description

We're excited to introduce the Channel Islands Twin Pin surfboard, a highly anticipated and versatile board. Created by Mikey February and Britt Merrick, it combines the fun elements of a twin fin with hold and projection. The board's wave range is impressive, handling waist-high to overhead conditions and dealing well with wind and chop. Its design features a flat nose and mid-section, transitioning into a slight vee tail for responsiveness without sacrificing stability. The Twin Pin suits surfers of all levels, and its minimalist branding and retro logo add a stylish touch. It's an excellent daily driver for both home and travel.

CI Twin Pin
The Team at Boardshop are really easy to deal with , I was nervous buying a board without seeing it but the team gave me confidence. I ordered a custom CI Twin Pin in spine tech and I'm very happy with my purchase

Channel Islands
I bought two boards off Boardshop website, they were exactly as described.l just spent three days surfing Croyde on the 6’5” Channel Islands Twin Pin,it paddled like a dream and performed really well in the 4 to 6 ft waves . Frazer was a great help with choosing the fins, all went well . I haven’t ridden the 7’ Gerry Lopez Little Darlin, bit to much wave action this week!!

Speed machine
Having been lucky enough to secure a Twin Pin I was finally able to ride it in unexpected summer swells ranging from head - high+ clean surf to onshore solid waves. In short - a great board, handles size, steep(ish) drops and chop very well. The most noticeable aspect for me was the speed, it just flies from the second it is in the wave. I went for the 6'3" which has about 2.5l more volume than my standard thruster, it hides it very well (does not feel as if you are pushing water). I rode it with the standard Britt Merrick fins, which seem to work very well. A magic board - bring on autumn / winter!
