The Cord Humbucker surfboard is a great everyday board. We've been wanting to offer Cord boards for a while, Markie Lascelles is right up there with the best shapers around, so we're super stoked to finally bring them to our customers.

The Humbucker is Cord's do everything twinny, there's a hint of groveler but also genuine everyday surfing functionality. It can handle size and shape too, there are lots of good shots of Markie getting barrelled on his! ​

The Humbucker has a beaked nose which lets you keep plenty of volume in the board right up under your chest for maximum paddle speed and early wave entry. A low nose and tail rocker combined with a wider, straighter outline means a lot of surface area in the water which is great for speed and keeping that speed across flatter sections of waves. The tail is a fairly wide swallow, again giving good surface area on the water but giving great turning response. Between the twin fin boxes is a short split channel to help give the board more lift under the back foot helping with speed from the off and through your turns. This design is great for getting waves and has lots of flow once up and riding.

Ride the Humbucker with a keel fin set up for maximum performance, lots of speed obviously but the little split channel gives that bit on control normally lacking in flat keel fish type boards. ​

If you're looking at a board to take care of everyday waves especially when its not perfect the Humbucker is a great option, a good alternative to a standard groveler like say a Pyzel Gremlin.

The Cord Humbucker is a great addition to a quiver if you are looking for a different feel or are looking for a twin fin you can use as an everyday board.
