I've been looking for a hybrid for a little while and kept coming back to this board based on the reviews, the looks and a bit of nostalgia. I'd come up with a list of about 6 boards and went through each one with one of the lads in the shop (wish I'd taken his name cos he was brilliant) taking into account the waves I'd be surfing locally, my age weight etc etc. - We still came back to the ADPT. Four days later it turned up, typically coinciding with 0 swell. It just looks right, the finish is awesome and the recommended FCS2 power twin fins are bang on. I just can't wait for that autumn swell to kick in but in the mean time a massive thanks to the guys at Boardshop for knowing their products and wanting to get to know their customers.

Looked at buying FORM surf board after…
Looked at buying FORM surf board after seeing the video review with Ian and Luke. After contacting Luke from FORM he directed to another model and slightly different size, Luke was extremely helpful and I am pleased to say that the board works really well for me. Order went through Boardshop UK which was great and again very helpful on the phone, got it delivered in 4 weeks , Perfect very pleased.

leave the thruster at home
The board is exciting, it feels refreshing after surfing a standard thruster for many years. Its the first twin Ive ever surfed and so how the board responds is not predictable which makes it addictive! Ill not be reaching for the thruster again anytime soon.

This is the only twin I've ever surfed and I wont be reaching for the thruster anytime soon...

A super fast hybrid board
I surfed this board in decent south coast surf and what I really took from it was speed, over flat sections and on the open face it flew - with the right fins it just flows from turns very loose but also solid on a rail for more power surfing. Tried it with different fins as a thruster; for me it ignited with the MF FCS large fins
