The Futures Fins QD2 Thermotech 4.00 Quad Rear Fins.

Thermotech is Futures tried and tested composite material, with the Truss Base making them lighter, and designed to break under impact reducing the risk of injury to yourself and your board.

Add this fin set to any futures thruster set for the ultimate do-it-all Five Fin Set.

Most people use a Three fin Thruster set when the surf is head high and above and often turn to a Quad set for extra "squirt" when the surf is a little smaller and weaker. Kelly is a freak and loves a quad set for extra hold in the barrel!

Quad set-up experiment
Bought these for my Firewire evo helium kite board. I've always ridden it with a thruster set-up but wanted to experiment with a quad set-up to understand the difference. Need more sessions to fully appreciate the subtleties but it does seem to track upwind at a slightly higher angle and appears more slashy in the onshore slop South coast slop.
