The Global System 10 Shortboard 10mm surfboard bag.

Boardshop is super stoked to be stocking the brand-new Global range of board bags. These bags are constructed to the very highest specification with all the key features in place to ensure your precious surfboard arrives in one piece at the end of its journey, whether that be long haul or a short trip to your local break.

The System 10 series are all constructed from a combination of durable Rip Stop Polyester and super tough, reflective Rip Stop Tarpaulin on the underside.

Key features include; a 10cm deep padded tail gusset, extra reinforcement at the nose, top opening outer pocket for accessories, webbing carry handle, stowable shoulder strap with padding, web hanging ring at tail end, sewn in fin slot (only 8ft and over bags), and a full double zip with plastic sliders.

The silver finish on the underside of the boardbag is essential, reflecting sunlight and heat, and thereby protecting your surfboard from delamination and also preventing your wax from melting.

I’ve now done 3 international trips with this, two European and one long-haul, and the board has been undamaged each time. Really good quality product; one nice feature is that it’s balanced to carry on your shoulder when there’s a bit of gear in the tail section (as there always is...), which shows it’s a well thought out design.

I have to say this bag is made extremely well indeed and genuinely better than some other bags i have that were a lot more expensive. Good thick padding and nice quality materials and stitching.
I like that the carry strap is attached so you cannot loose it, but also unclip and store out of way.
I like the fact the back is expandable so you can stow the board with fins or you can get a wetsuit in there as well, but its not big and voluminous as some other bags.
Good fit with the Bradley New Barcelona Board 5"10" i purchased at the same time.
