Description

The Lost Baby Buggy surfboard, designed by Matt Biolos, is a fun and high-performance addition to the Buggy series. Taj Burrow requested a shorter board with similar volume to his regular board, perfect for fast and enjoyable surfing. Matt re-modelled Taj's Beach Buggy, reducing the rocker and adding more foam to create the Baby Buggy. It proved to be a success during testing in Tahiti. Competent surfers in the UK and northern Europe will find it ideal as a performance shortboard with added volume to accommodate wetsuit weight.

Very well balanced
One rule I've had over 2 decades of surfing is, if there's a pro's name on a board avoid it, glad I bought this one though. Ordered a custom carbon wrap, 5 10 x 19.5 x 2.5 31.2l. Without being unkind there's nothing extraordinary about the Baby Buggy, everything seems just right. The width in the nose, middle and tail is right, the nose rocker is low with just enough flip and the tail rocker is probably at the high and of low (low medium?), plenty of foam in the rails means you get a great amount of glide but you can also turn it very easily when you want, it's just so responsive and easy to surf. Only had it in small waves so far but amazed how well it goes with the carbon wrap. I suspect it will be at its best from thigh to overhead surf with medium or upright fins. I'm pretty happy with it and can't wait for my next surf. But be warned if you want a custom job delivery could take a while, so give it plenty of time if you want one for a trip otherwise buy off the virtual rack. Great daily driver.
