The Love Machine V.Bowls model from Ryan Lovelace is a total flow machine, once you get it dialled there is literally nothing else out there like it The V.Bowls is the board that started the Lovelace story, it makes full use of his experience in shaping and riding displacement hulls and transfers the feelings of slingshot bottom turns with confidence off the back foot and tackles small waves effortlessly, its impossible not to enjoy this board.

There is a magical looseness and roll off the back half of the board, it has trim speed to spare and up front the foiled rails that are what Ryan describes as the stuff of legend! The V.B enjoys a good pockety wave and a engenders a looseness in your surfing, basically climb aboard, loosen up and let it flow! The FM sits in the mid length; category but offers so much more than most mids out there. Sizing is easyish, as with all mid lengths think about the waves you're going to be surfing in and what you want the board to do for you.

The board has a single fin set up with 6oz bottom & 6+4oz deck glassing, its durable which means you'll be surfing it all the time!

Ryan has often described the 7'6 as a dividing-line in the v.Bowls length decision-making process. Going longer creates a more specifically small-wave board, and as you go shorter the straight-line glide of the v.Bowls starts to lessen with every inch subtracted. On sizing the 7'6 is long enough to glide and cruise, and still wrap a tight arc. V.Bowls do classically like a bit of tension in the wave face, so you can have confidence pulling this out when the waves get good; the better the wave, the better they go! This variation, the TP (tri-plane) allows the board to plane out on flatter faces quicker than the fully convex versions, while keeping the rail line, rocker and foil completely intact. If you're a bigger/heavier surfer bump up to the 8'0 to enjoy all the good stuff the V.Bowls delivers.
