The 7'0 resin tint is a work of art, I couldn't resist. Stepping down in volume on a shape I'm familiar with seemed the right idea. I'm 6'1 94kg and average skills, so still looking for paddle power but improving on my rail surfing, which the evolution is perfect for. Thanks Boardshop!

Mid-length crisis is over
I love this board! Great blend of paddle power and manoeuvrability even at 7'2. After analysis paralysis of the wide range of midlengths out there I reached out to Boardshophad and got some good direct advice from Matt which led to this sweet ride. Thanks!

Best Board I ever had
This board is amazing! It's unbelievable how good this board paddles, seriously I never experienced anything like it. You can sit out the back and just glide into waves before anyone else. At the same time even steep drops aren't an issue. On the wave it's really fast and easy to generate speed with. Even if your foot placement isn't perfect (which is the case for me most of the time) it will go very well and let me perform turns best to my ability.
I'm 197cm and 90kg, and a below average surfer. I went for the 6ft 6, which at 42l is perfect for me. Tested it in European beachies and even some reefs in the Maledives and it performed well everywhere. Really the only board I pack these days.
Cheers!

A Great Board
Great service as usual from Boardshop, the board arrived in Jersey 4 days after I ordered it. I was getting the Pukas as a step up and lazy day board, but having tried it in 3ft surf it went so well, I was really impressed I feel I will be using it a lot more than expected.

5 star board and service!
After some great advice (and patience) from Matt and Frazer I went for this board in a 6'10 (I am 6ft, 78kg intermediate) and am really chuffed with it! It has a lot more rocker than my old 7'6 and less volume but it paddles amazingly well and catches waves super easily. Duck diving is much easier (after a few positioning adjustments) and it feels really loose and fast in its current quad setup. Brilliant service from the Boardshop team as ever and I'm really excited to see how I can progress my surfing with this board as it feels like it has a lot of potential.

Delivery went super fast and easy!
Coming from longer boards, I found the 7’2 very easy. Paddling is very good (really compared to other same volume board where I was stuck in the water)
The board turns very well with very good glide. You have much more speed to burn than to create. Has a very average surfer I was please to see that it can be ridden from the centre like those classic mid I usually ride. A good teacher on my way to shorter stuff

Amazing
Great board, with tonnes of volume for ease of paddling and catching waves. As an intermediate surfer looking to improve I went for the 6’10 and I’m very happy I decided to go for the Evolution!

Great Board!
Bought this board mostly for European conditions (Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal). Tested it out at the mushy Belgian coast and it paddles great! Brilliant wave catcher. Can’t wait to get it out on travel!

Great board
I got a custom sixtyniner. 7'4 Wanted it for the bigger days on the west coast of Ireland. Works great, paddles extremely well, turns easily. Solid glass job. Board just feels very strong. Been surfing it all winter. Had it out in a few head high days, and worked all too, but it loves the bigger days. Excellent delivery, service as usual from the lads at boardshop.
