Amazing service from the gents at BoardShop
1st class service all the way through from Boardshop: from being super responsive over email, to taking the time to chat through what I was looking for and provide well considered recommendations, through to doing what they could to get the board over to me before my trip. Board arrived on time, in perfect condition.

Unfortunately the conditions haven't called for me to break out the Ghost yet, but I'm convinced it was the right board for me to serve as my step up both chunkier/choppier conditions and solid/good surf.

I'm living in Bali most of the year and since I have the Ghost it has been an game changer. Living in Australia and comfortable in good big surf I needed an solid board, and the Ghost has been exceptional! So much so, that I have pretty much sold all of my other Mayhem boards and mainly surf the Ghost for everything 6ft and up and the Phantom which I surf anything under 6ft.
It takes a while to understand the board, but when you do, I've done stuff I wasn't able to before. Currently I'm planning to order an 6'2 Ghost to get that extra beef underneath you. Ow and yes it also goes very well if it's a bit smaller as well.
Definitely recommend it as an travel board, pairing that with one of the ghost family shapes (Phantom, Gremlin) you will get an complete quiver with just 2 boards.

"Custom order Ghost, 6'3 x 20 x 2 3/4, slightly widened template compared to stock dims. Custom spray, grey with partial black rail line in standard
4 OZ PU construction.
Absolute beauty ! 6 weeks return time from first order to my doorstep, pristine as always, no hassle, great advice, and arrived now just in time for summer escape.
Nice rocker, slightly staged with medium entry and tail exit rocker and low to medium in between; nice rails, a bit domed but not super low/sensitive.
Single concave with increasing double just after center.
Looks like a very user friendly board to me, nothing too extreme, very balanced. Nice foam under the chest without ever becoming bulky (unlike other midpoint forward shapes, think a Lost Rock up or Rusty Slayer), still shortboard-like with a little extra.
The rounded pintail with the tail rocker surely won't do it in absolute junk or waves below stomach high, but I am really looking forward to taking it out in better stuff soon, guess it will be great in OH stuff without slowing too much on a softer shoulder.
Overall price was great including the extra spray job and customizing (+10%), so for me there is no reason whatsoever not to go custom if you can wait those 6 weeks.
Will report once I had it in the water, comparing it to my other (mainly
FireWire) boards. Stoked ! "

No problems with the delivery. Board arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. Looks great! I've got 2 Pyzels and I think Ghost is just what I need the for my upcoming trips. Can't wait!
