Description

Introducing the sleek and versatile Seastix Mid Storm, a mid-length board designed to rival bigger boards in paddle speed and wave entry while providing the feel and performance of a shorter board. With a manoeuvrable design influenced by Mark Phipps' One Bad Egg, the Mid Storm offers improved wave count and the ability to push hard through turns. Ideal for surfers looking for more waves, the board features rolled rails, low entry rocker, and a wide point for exceptional paddling. The slight double concave, rail profile, and fin position provide grip, ease of manoeuvring, and effortless flow. Suitable for a wide range of wave sizes, the Mid Storm offers both flow and drive.

Effortless surfing
Picked up one of these in a 6’6 a while ago. Have used it pretty much every possible condition but have found it really goes best when the waves are a bit more lined up and then it really comes into its own when you’ve got some nice clean shoulder-head high walls to cruise on. It draws big sweeping carves effortlessly and goes from rail to rail surprisingly quick a board of its size.

Seastix Mid Storm 6`6
"After a few surfs now, in a variety of different waves, its safe to say this board is a keeper. I wanted to add a bit more performance to a higher volumed 6'6 Egg that was already in my quiver, and its definitely delivered. Extremely smooth in the turns, its certainly not a slow or lazy board, its keen to be surfed and is really responsive. In terms of paddling, i don't feel I've lost too much from its predecessor which had an extra 5.5ltrs and fuller outline. Anyone thinking of a mid should put this on their list.

With all the options out there at the moment, it was good to visit the shop and put a few similiar-ish boards under the arm, made the decision much easier.

Thanks to Frazer for the time and advise (and Matt for the initial phone call) - top blokes"
