Description

The Siren Sailors Ruin surfboard looks stunning and surfs just as well. It’s a classic Long Fish style board designed for easy paddling and wave catching but don't be deceived by the soft curves and beautiful spray this board has all the drive, hold and performance you could ever want. This longer narrower and thinned down version of the classic Fish template allows you to go longer to maximise wave count without impacting performance too much.

Siren Surfboards are designed by female surfers for female surfers, or anyone who likes the boards! Special attention has been paid to volume distribution, the thickness in the rail and the overall rocker line in order to create a board that works for a lighter weight or smaller framed surfer. Siren surfboards is trying to break the mould whereby female surfers have to go for a custom version of a male designed board in order to get the design dynamics they need.

The Sailors Ruin Long Fish is a lovely board to surf, you get lots of glide to carry speed but precision performance in a wide range of wave types. It’s ideal for anyone looking to up their wave count but not give up on being able to properly surf the board. If you don't want a higher volume mid length that’ll be hard to control then the Long Fish style is well worth a look. The Sailors Ruin works in anything from thigh high peelers to waves with serious winter juice, it handles it all! You need to tailor your size to your ability, or what you want the board to do for you, if it’s a styled out cruiser you want then go longer, if you're focusing on performance then shorter is better. A single concave runs the length of the board to help generate lift and so speed whilst keeping the board stable, that speed gives you the ability to get the board trimming and turning that bit easier.

Fin wise a set of standard quads will work fine but you can always spice it up with a more keel focused set up, we like it with the Futures Controller fins in the Bamboo construction.

Siren Surfboard’s Sailor's Ruin Long Fish like all Siren boards is UK designed and built, they are hand crafted, hand finished and no finishing of the boards takes place anywhere else but the South Coast Board Co.s shaping facility. The glassing is 6+4/6oz so you not only get the finish and looks of a dream board, but the glassing will hold up to whatever you throw at it in your day to day surfing.

We're super-stoked to be an exclusive partner of Siren Surfboards and are really looking forward to getting these beautiful boards out there and being surfed.
