Description

The Surfworx Ribeye Longboard package includes the board leash and fin plus a good quality padded boardbag and a bar of wax. The perfect first surfboard for the bigger guy or girl, and ideal for the keen to progress longboarder. This is without doubt one of the best starter surfboards available; beautifully finished with a stable and forgiving outline to get you up and riding from day one!

The Ribeye Longboard is constructed with a High Density Closed Cell foam Core which means the boards are nice and light for thier size, and should you be unlucky enough to damage the outer skin the board won't soak up water and become waterlogged and un-surfable. Double resin coated, laminated wooden stringers run the length of the board helping it maintain its shape and perform like a good quality "hard" surfboard. The slick bottom has an integrated mesh membrane which adds durability and improved performance on the wave. The High Density deck skin is very durable and will keep the Ribeye Longboard performing for years.

The Surfworx 9ft 0 Ribeye Longboard comes with a good quality, traditional single fin which is a real step-up from the normal 'push through the deck' soft fins normally supplied on foamies.

The Ribeye Longboard is a brilliant option for a broad range of ages and abilities, from larger kids and teens at the beginning of their surfing career to first time adults looking to kick-off their surfing adventure.

This has to be one of the funnest boards I’ve ever surfed! I love shortboarding but for those days when it’s smaller and you still want to get in this is the perfect choice!

Surfworx Ribeye Longboard Soft Surfboard 9ft- Brilliantly does the job.
After years (and years) of bodysurfing, finally bought a board in my 50th year to begin learning with my boys (12, 17, 19). Delivery was next day as promised (by DX couriers - who waited whilst I checked things over before signing for the package). We all easily caught the small (2ft) surf availabe so far and have all managed to pop and stand in our first session. I was worried that the board would be too big for the 12 year old, but he has obviously outperformed us all so far. Board is very stable and buoyant (up to the 14st we have in our test group). Perfect beginner board for gaining confidence. Catches waves with ease. Looking forward to testing in bigger conditions.
