Description

The brilliant Torq Mod Fun 7ft 6 surfboard in the brilliant TET construction with a new colour for this season. A package is the most cost effective way to buy your perfect surfboard setup. It consists of the board, a 5mm padded surfboard bag, a great quality leash of suitable size and with double corrosion proof swivels and a bar of wax.

A basic requirement for a beginner surfboard is that it should be long enough, wide enough and buoyant enough to allow the rider to paddle and catch waves, and be stable when popping to your feet from the prone position. The Torq Mod Fun is also ideal for the intermediate surfer looking for a well made and durable surfboard but without the daunting price tag and fragility of a top-end PU fibreglass surfboard. Experienced guys returning to the waves after a long break have also chosen the Torq Mod Fun for its performance shape, build quality and value.

Torq Surfboards are constructed using the most up-to-date Epoxy Technology, using the latest EPS Epoxy Materials. The lightweight EPS Core is combined with Biaxial fibreglass cloth, Epoxy resin and Torq's unique Shield Skin. Constructed in the most advanced mould on the planet, creating the most perfect production every time.

This New TET-CS construction delivers the perfect blend of advanced materials and high-tech construction resulting in slightly lighter and more responsive surfboard which is more fun to surf and just as tough as before. These surfboards perform at the very highest level, offering lightweight shapes with a responsive flex (absent on some lower priced Epoxy boards) but also makes for a really durable and strong board.

Board is great, a good quality leash and everything was delivered a day ahead of schedule. Very pleased with the service from Boardshop; would recommend them. Too early to give a proper review on the board, tbh: I'm a beginner with about 15 lessons under my belt. Confident that this Torq will do the job - my only concern is whether it'll have enough volume for a rookie (I'm 84kg).

Perfect board for all conditions
Very easy board to surf. Went out in 3-5ft swell and was very easy to paddle on to waves and turn. Haven’t nose dived so the shape is very forgiving for late take offs. I’m 6’2” and very unfit but was able to stay out for over an hour constantly catching waves. It also floats in white water if you’re still learning or just being lazy.

Bought this board as an all rounder. I have used it once. I regularly surf with my young son and friends. Surfing on breakers with my son it was stable and easy to catch waves. Teaching my friend (Firsttimer) it was controlable and he almost stood up. When I took it out myself (about 4 foot waves.) it was stable and easy to turn along green waves. Has allot of buoyancy so difficult to duck dive. Other than that a good all rounder. Very happy to recommend.
