The benefits of buying a surfboard package instead of the board alone are numerous. Firstly, as soon as you receive your package you can fit your fins, attach the leash, wax up the board, slip it in the bag and head to the beach! Secondly its much cheaper to buy the package than it would be to purchase the individual items separately. Last but arguably most important, is that we will ensure that your padded boardbag and the leash are suitable for the board you are buying and that the wax is correct for the current water temperature. The bag needs to be wide enough and long enough to accommodate the board with the fins fitted and needs to offer adequate protection for your brand new surfboard. We'll also ensure that the leash is the correct length and strong enough for your particular board.

The Mod Fun will work in a multitude of different conditions and will suit surfers of all levels in virtually every condition. From waist high slop to clean overhead and hollow. The versatility of the Mod Fun makes them the perfect 'swiss army' surfboard, if you need one board to handle all the conditions where you live and travel.

Featuring a medium full nose and shallow mid-entry there is plenty of volume for smaller days and weaker waves. As the surf picks up, step back, get your foot on the gas and the board takes on a whole new persona. You’ll find a board that feels shorter than its length, delivering predictable handling and performance. The Mod Fun comes with a traditional Futures Tri-fin set-up.

The lightweight EPS Core is combined with Biaxial fibreglass cloth, Epoxy resin and Torq's unique Shield Skin. Constructed in the most advanced mould on the planet, creating the most perfect production every time.

This unique combination of advanced materials and high-tech construction produces a board that performs at the very highest level, offering lightweight shapes with a responsive flex (missing on some cheaper Epoxy boards) but also makes for a really durable and strong surfboard.
