Description

The Torq Mod Fun surfboard package. With it's new fresh colour-up, the 7ft 2 Mod Fun could quite possibly be THE coolest way to kick off your surfing adventure.

The Swiss army knife of the Torq quiver, the 7ft 2 Mod Fun can do it all and will work for a wide range of abilities and sizes.

The board features a medium full nose and shallow mid-entry rocker and there is plenty of volume for smaller mushier waves. When the surf gets bigger the Mod Fun can handle it; just plant your back foot above the fins and the board takes on a whole new persona. It couldn't be further from a mini mal, the Mod Fun delivers performance in bucket loads! The Mod Fun has a traditional three fin thruster set-up and comes with a set of Futures fins.

Why buy the complete package I hear you ask; firstly it's cheaper and secondly we'll ensure that all the pack components are suited to the board you have chosen. The padded bag will fit the size and shape of your board, the leash will be the correct length with a correct diameter cord and the wax will suit the current water temperature here in the UK.

Torq Surfboards are constructed using the most up-to-date Epoxy Technology, using the latest EPS Epoxy Materials. The lightweight EPS Core is combined with Biaxial fibreglass cloth, Epoxy resin and Torq's unique Shield Skin. Constructed in the most advanced mould on the planet, creating the most perfect production every time.

This unique combination of advanced materials and high-tech construction produces a board that performs at the very highest level, offering lightweight shapes with a responsive flex (missing on some cheaper Epoxy boards) but also makes for a really durable and strong surfboard. Amazing customer service and a perfect first board
This board was the perfect next step for me to develop my surfing. I have surfed a few times on foamies and was able to consistently stand up and ride a wave to shore. This is my first board, and it feels incredible. Not the best conditions around here in Portugal at the moment, but I know I’ll keep improving with this beauty. Delivery and packaging from Boardshop was first rate. Delivered next day as stated, two boards both in perfect condition.
The Torq 7'6 Funboard has been out on one trip so far. Good buoyancy, I am 70kg, and nicely balanced. It is at the limits of my ability but gives me space to grow into it. It feels like a strong construction and the good quality bag that came with the package will help to keep it protected.
All in all a highly recommended shop and board. Buy with confidence.

Perfect board for all conditions
Very easy board to surf. Went out in 3-5ft swell and was very easy to paddle on to waves and turn. Haven’t nose dived so the shape is very forgiving for late take offs. I’m 6’2” and very unfit but was able to stay out for over an hour constantly catching waves. It also floats in white water if you’re still learning or just being lazy.

Upon unwrapping it for inspection I found it to have zero freight damage and was super impressed to see it in person. For a production
run deck the quiality is top notch. The shield skin will be much appreciated on the Okinawa reef breaks i’ll be Surfing in a few short months.
Thie shape and low rocker along with forgiving pintail are practically identical to a board I rode years ago in Oregon. So stoked to give it a whirl, may need to sneak over to San Diego for a few sessions before leaving the states. Thanks again and again to everyone at
