The Torq Mod Fun V+ EVA Soft Top surfboard. This is not a standard foamie, it offers more performance and progression whilst still having the forgiving edge and paddle power you need to start your surfing journey. The V+ range of boards smuggles in extra float whilst keeping the length down; this means all the paddle you need is there but the shorter length aids progression. These Torq soft top surfboards continue the Torq revolution in Epoxy surfboard technology. This clever design uses the latest EPS/Epoxy materials to produce a surfboard with a tough durable structure and a soft user friendly EVA outer skin, making them ideal for learning to surf. The Torq soft top technology combines a lightweight EPS core with Biaxial fibreglass cloth, Epoxy resin and a layer of extruded EVA foam. Torq's unique combination of cutting-edge materials, high tech construction and integrated Futures fin boxes creates a light-weight, incredibly strong and durable surfboard.

Torq Soft Top surfboards are the perfect choice for a multitude of riders, from absolute beginners to intermediate surfers looking for a durable surfboard that won't let them down. A Torq Soft Top surfboard is basically a tough modern surfboard with a soft outer skin on the deck and rails to prevent injury to the rider, other surfers and swimmers.

This blend of performance and safety is unique. Whilst not as forgiving as a foamy from the surf-school, the Torq Soft Top soft top board offers a great compromise. You're getting a board that can perform well for an intermediate rider in decent waves and an excellent learner board that you won't have to trade-in as soon as the basics are mastered.

The board features a medium full nose and shallow mid-entry rocker and there is plenty of volume for smaller mushier waves. When the surf gets bigger the Mod Fun can handle it; just plant your back foot above the fins and the board takes on a whole new persona. It couldn't be further from a mini-mal, the Mod Fun delivers performance in bucket loads! The Mod Fun has a traditional three fin thruster set-up and comes with a set of Futures fins.
