GRIPD Wax Free Surfboard Traction

GRIPD surfboard traction is the latest innovation in board grip and possibly the best alternative to waxing your surfboard. GRIPD is clean and green in its approach to making sure you have the grip you need when surfing. No melting, no mess, no scrabbling around trying to find that last bit of wax when the surf is firing, it’s a total no brainer.

GRIPD is free from stuff that hurts our oceans, namely Phthalates, Plasticisers and PVCs. The pads themselves are made from PET which is widely recyclable, the packaging is also recycled and recyclable.

Most importantly though it gives excellent traction. There are a couple of other brands doing a similar thing but the stuff is thinner and doesn’t have an abrasive feel to it at all. Also GRIPD is made in the UK, started and run by a nice guy called Sam who is based on the south coast and a decent surfer. GRIPD is also a contributor to the World Land Trust which offsets the carbon footprint of the product.
