Description

To meet the demand for a groveller board, Form Surfboards created the Flow Stik Mini. Designed by Alan Stokes and Luke Hart, it offers summer fun in smaller waves. With a low rocker for paddle speed and a curvy outline for manoeuvrability, it excels in beach break conditions. The board features a single concave in the nose for lift and speed, transitioning to a deep double concave through the fins for rail-to-rail transitions and forward propulsion, especially with quad fins. For head-high surf or a more predictable feel, thruster fins are recommended.

Stoked.
Charlie was excellent at advising me on my new board and accessories. He was very patient with me umming and arring about what to go for. Decided on Form Flow Stik and the board looks excellent. Can’t wait to get out on the water!

Perfect
I love this board. I’ve surfed for 30 years. I’m 46, 6’2 and not particularly fit. I’ve already got a fish which is fun and gets into waves really easily but I thought I wanted something that was going to be super easy so I thought that I’d try this a bit larger than recommended. I bought a 6’4. It’s no joke to say that this gets into waves like a mini mal but turns like a short board.

Excellent
Really good service, ordered a 6”0 flow stick mini and got advice on the correct volume for my self and when I had to change the delivery address at late notice no problems. Excellent service through and through

Amaizng short board for small waves
I bought this board for the slightly larger days down the Witterings. The waves in the Witterings are mainly a long board wave but this shot board holds it own. It has the feel and stability of a mal but the manoeuvrability of a short board. Easy to paddle on to waves and great speed when on them. I have used the board twice now in 4-5ft and also 2ft and the board performed great both times. Highly recommend this board. Also big shout out to Matt at boardshop who was really helpful which led me to purchasing this quality piece of equipment

Awesome board
Love this little board works well in 3 to 5 ft waves. Easy paddle and nice and wide for stability. Turns on a pin and glides down the line, one to consider for the back of the car and quick hops in the water at lunch :)

Cant fault it!
Got this board last September for the bigger swells and as a step up. Was a bit worried getting the 6.6 because I thought the volume would be to high, but after chatting to Luke at toy factory and the guys at boardshop I went for it. It's honestly blown my mind! It's made surfing heavier, steeper punchy waves way easier but it goes it small conditions as well. I only ride as a twin with the power twins, and considering the length you can still do snaps if you're right at the back, or big carves! Love it, pretty much all I ride now.

Exactly what I have been looking for.
I have been searching for a board suitable for my daughter who has outgrown her 5'10 fish ( it's too small now she's got bigger. )
This met all the requirements with the bonus of it coming in a gorgeous blue colour.
Looking forward to seeing trying it out.
Excellent packing and advice as usual from the boardshop team.

Lots of fun
I brought this board to take to Sri Lanka for a month and am now on my last day of trip, the board has had a lot of use! First thing to say is it catches waves great, in a busy lineup I often feel like I've got the edge in terms of paddle and can sit a few yards further out than if I was on a short board. I was surprised how fast it felt on the first few rides. It turns great and its helped me nail some nice cutbacks. Before this i was on a more traditional JS shortboard and its fair to say (and probs obvious) you can't 'throw' this board around as much but I haven't missed that and you just naturally take a different line. I have had so much fun on this board, plus it's a great travel board as it works in so many conditions (which is why I went for it). Have had no worries about using it on some of the steeper reef breaks here, but have gone for a longboard when possible if it's under waist height. The finish on the board is quality, it's not the strongest board ever and has had to be repaired once already and has quite a few pressure dings but I can live with that as it has been through the wars. Overall I'm pleased with the board and cant wait to take it back to Cornwall and try it out at home.
