Description

To meet the demand for a groveller board, Form Surfboards created the Flow Stik Mini. Designed by Alan Stokes and Luke Hart, it offers summer fun in smaller waves. With a low rocker for paddle speed and a curvy outline for manoeuvrability, it excels in beach break conditions. The board features a single concave in the nose for lift and speed, transitioning to a deep double concave through the fins for rail-to-rail transitions and forward propulsion, especially with quad fins. For head-high surf or a more predictable feel, thruster fins are recommended.

Superb
Just jumped on this wicked board after cutting my teeth on a Torq minimal 7'6" and couldn't be happier. The Flow Stik catches waves like a beast even though I've dropped nearly 12 litres volume wise. I know I'll progress my surfing nicely with this board. Great advice from the guys at Boardshop, Thanks!

Great board & lots of waves
Bought this at 7ft 2 in the new blue variety following lots of emails between me and the Boardshop team.

I wanted something with a bit more volume to predominantly use through the summer and to be a bit more forgiving whilst I get back into surfing after a few years out. I was recommended either this or the greedy beaver in a similar size to enable me to catch loads of waves and get into them a bit earlier than my short board was allowing.

Managed to take it for a spin over the weekend in fairly small waves but the board was great, catching significantly more waves than others in the line up- I didn’t want to come out!

Even at 7ft 2 the board still manoeuvred well and is duck dive-able and I’m looking forward to putting it through it’s paces in coming months. I’ve paired it with the neo glass carver fins (again on the recommendation of the team) which give the board plenty of speed and control.

The blue looks amazing in the flesh and the pics don’t quite do it justice, I had plenty of admiring glances on the beach and in the surf! Coupled with the neon green/yellow fins it’s quite a striking look.....

Great board and thanks again for all the advice!

Such a work of art
Love this board, and the advice the team gave me. I am a 40-something surfer getting back into it with my teenage kids, and wanted a forgiving board for when you're getting your feet right, but one that would take off and go when needed. The FlowStick is brilliant. Great tail and rocker, and enough beef to paddle and float over sluggish sections. Thanks to all the team. I was a pain in the bum customer, but nothing was too much trouble. The trade in was really easy too. Cheers!

Fantastic advice + Great Board = Crazy amount of fun!
6'0" 80kgs surfer from South Devon at Uni in Southampton. I recently looked into buying a Firewire Dominator 6'1 from Boardshop and asked if I could come down to have a chat about it.

I've been SUP surfing for the last 10 years and ride very much a shortboard style but after a uni society surf trip realised while I wanted a shortboard, I could probably do with some "training wheels". Went along to Boardshop and spoke to Matt Hayes who spent an hour and a half getting an idea of my standard of surfing and what I wanted to get out of the board and recommended the FlowStik 6'4".

This board is the most fun I have ever had surfing. I've taken it out 3 times now in classic messy british surf and it rides like a dream! The longboard-ish shape and the added volume makes it very comfortable and fast to paddle and picks up waves very easily (I found I could sit about 1-2m further out then the other shortboarders). On the wave it's very fast - I was worried putting it in thruster set-up would make it more sluggish but it definitely has speed to spare! It's very stable on the pop-up (my current area of weakness) and is snappy enough that can hit the lip without any problem!

Just want to get out on it again!

Perfect board for me!
Just a quick review to say I managed to get out at East yesterday in the end. It was hard work and didn't have a lot of time but caught a couple of waves and the board was spot on. Easy to duck dive, catch a wave and get up on with manoeuvrability. Exactly what I was after so just a quick note to say thanks for all your help, Matt and Clive really helped with the board choice. It was much appreciated.

Wow this thing flies
I’m a shortboarder and mr Maddon convinced me to give this a go, I took the 6’10 out at Croyde in conditions ranging from knee to waist high to overhead. All I can say is wow - this thing lit up, with stretch quads it flew - you can get it vertical, on a rail or just cruise on it . The board has definitely spruced up my surfing and opened my mind up a little, I’ bought this to surf with my son; cruise a little but in truth it really came alive for me in meaty waves - so fast and responsive it really is a performance board; step on the tail and you can get the thing vertical with ease - never thought I’d have a 6’10 in the shed but this one is a keeper
